But nothing beats being in the room
with the music & the musicians!

Thursday, April 6th – 7:30-9:30 pm
Meredith Edgar + Paul Griffiths & The Scofflaws
Randy Lee Odell presents… every last Thursday in B&B’s
canyon moonlight music series — occasional Thursday and Sunday nights

Paul Griffiths & Meredith Edgar… & the Scofflaws!

Paul hails from Manchester England, playing regularly around the bay… his song “Headless Body in a Topless Bar” kind of says it all– he goes where he wants to in his music and songwriting — all of it completely transfixing and charming.  He’s well known for his Pogues tribute band, the Bogues, though that’s for another show…

Tonight Paul joins forces with the wonderful songwriter and singer Meredith Edgar, a San Francisco native recently returned from a five-year sojourn in Austin, Texas. Meredith’s major musical influences are Ryan Adams, Billie Holiday, Morphine, Gillian Welch, Amy Winehouse and Jolie Holland. Meredith writes songs about bittersweet love, drowning, mistakes, the ocean and the dark underbelly of relationships.

Paul and Meredith will take solo turns, and will also perform backed by the Scofflaws– well suited to bringing the music to a fever pitch.

“Paul Griffiths’ music ‘speaks’ to the listener with sincerity and wit. His lyrics are insightful and eloquent and his melodies are unpredictable without being pretentious. Do yourself a favor and discover the music of Paul Griffiths.”
~Jim Bruno
