7:00 PM, first and third Thursday of each month. Poetry featured readers and open mic on the first and third Thursday of each month, hosted by peripatic troubadour Jerry Ferraz.
Our favorite Scottish poet, Leonard Irving always tells us most convincingly that Bird & Beckett is the best poetry venue in town, and we can't help but believe him!

Neighborhood characters convene monthly to drink a little wine & soda water and
to read from the work of favorite writers whose birthdays fall during the month at hand.
Come by the store and check out our list of authors or do your own research, then
find a fragment to read to the assembled throng!
